Botox FAQ – Part 2 Follow Up

Botox FAQ – Part 2 Follow Up

Hi Guys! Happy Monday!

I am just back from a quick little vacation to the Neshoba County Fair. If you don’t know what that is–stay tuned this week! I’m playing catch up on a lot of things so today I wanted to just do a quicky little post to follow up on my original botox post.

It was actually a video, so here is the original video. It goes though frequently asked questions about botox, the process, and my experience.

Since I made that original video, I’ve done a second round of botox touch-up. I have some different answers and updates to my original post that I want to address. So I figured we could do a part 2!

This is a quick post today so I’m just going to jump right into it.

-Does it hurt? Ok, the first time I said absolutely not, I couldn’t feel it at all. This time it did sting a little, but still not terrible. Becca, who administers my botox, did say that it can potentially hurt a little more in the summer and that you’re more likely to bleed in the summer. It still wasn’t bad but it wasn’t totally painless like the first time. Still no bruising, but I forgot the rule about no alcohol 24 hours before your appointment and had wine at book club the night before. Whoops. I got lucky.

-How long does it last? I needed a touch-up after 4 months. Becca said that muscles are the strongest after the first round, so it may last longer now that I’ve had a second round and weakened the muscles.

-How many units did you do the 2nd time? 26 again 🙂 I did a full second-round.

-How long did it take to show results? – The first time I had it done it took exactly two weeks to show the full results, this time it was the next day.

-Where do you go? – Dermani Medspa in Buckhead. I highly recommend. Becca is awesome and appointments only take about 15 minutes.

I’m still super happy with my decision to get botox. I was so self-conscious about my forehead and this has been such an easy fix to boost my confidence. I’m so open about the process and my decision to get botox in the first place, so please feel free to reach out and ask me anything!

I’ve been doing Botox for years and love how much younger it makes me look. I think every woman should find things that make her feel more confident and DO THEM! Good for you! Thanks for the update!

I’ve been looking to this and other options lately because I have really bad forehead lines (like 4 across my forehead). I think they came from squinting so much. After watching your video and reading your post, I’m really considering this option more! Thanks for sharing all this info!

I have never tried Botox because I am not experiencing too many wrinkles yet but I’m interested in the future haha.

I know a lot of friends who have done botox for migraine headaches, but never for cosmetic purposes. I’ve also heard that it helps eliminate excessive sweating under your arms. It’s such an interesting procedure!

I have read a lot of people who had gone to do botox and its quite amazing to learn from all the experiences of other people.

Wow, I actually thought botox lasted way longer! I didn’t know it was practically painless though, so I guess it isn’t too bad that you need to get it re-done quite often!

I absolutely love Botox! I’ve had it a few times (probably 4) and it has made such a difference!
