The Number 1 Thing I Carry in My Bag

The Number 1 Thing I Carry in My Bag

Guys, it’s Friday! We made it. Cue the hallelujah chorus.

Ok, today I want to talk about my new favorite product. I no longer leave the house without it. It’s so simple and you are going to be like, “Hel has officially lost her mind.” But whatevs. I’m obsessed.

No it’s not collagen, retinol, or a new vitamin (although I do love these products.) Nope, its Kleenex Wet Wipes. I’ve officially fallen in love. These are not tissues, not cleaning wipes, and not baby wipes. They serve their own specific purpose and they are awesome.

See, I told you it was simple.

These are new to the shelves, and I’m going to need them to start selling in bulk ASAP because I’m blowing through them like crazy. These little wipes come in a small package so they can fit in your purse, are not super saturated so you don’t have to worry about leaking liquid in your bag, and don’t contain any chemicals so you can use them on your face, hands, and skin. Yes, they are Kleenex, but I consider them a beauty product.

I find myself using them all the time, but I always always always leave a package in my gym bag. I have found so many uses for these babies while I’m working out. I go to the gym straight from work, so I use them on my face to remove my make-up. Ain’t nobody trying to work out in a full face (or a half-face –we all know what we look like at the end of the day.)

I also use them after my workout to wipe the sweat off my face. I legit loathe being sweaty and I’m not trying to get that gunk in my pores. So I’ll even take this package out of the locker room with me and keep it at the machine so I can wipe my face off the minute that timer hits zero. That’s the nice thing about the package is it’s super portable and can go anywhere.

Because these wipe lack the harsh chemicals, they are safe to use on skin, but they are thick enough to clean with too. In keeping with the gym theme, I use them to wipe down the machines after I’m done too.

When I’m not at the gym, I use these as a napkin to clean my hands and mouth when I need to.  I keep them in my car because you know I always have a Diet Coke and Atlanta is full of potholes. That is a horrible combination so I keep these in my “oh s*** kit.” (P.S. I’ve referenced this several times, I think it’s time for a full post.)

Anyways, I love them. I use them as much if not more than lip balm and hand sanitizer and that is really saying something. If you haven’t added these to every bag you own, you are seriously missing out. I pick up mine at Walgreens and you can find them right next to the other Kleenex products. PLUS: if you click this link you can get a $1 rebate.

What product can you not leave the house without?

They look so soft! I def keep wipes in my car, especially in the hot temps. Maybe I’ll switch to these if they’re leak free!

They are amazing! They are so thick and soft but not super saturated like a cleaning wet wipe. I love them and carry them ALL the time!

I love those handy little packets, I always keep them in my car, like you, we have a lot of pot holes, also!

Right?! What is the deal with the pot holes. In Atlanta, we just cover them up with metal plates–it’s insane.

I have not seen these but I am going to look for them! I do a lot of thrifting and yard saling for work (vintage shop) and these would come in VERY handy.

I haven’t seen the Kleenex ones before, but I think having wet wipes on hand is such a good idea! With or without kids, because you never know when you’re going to need one.

I highly recommend the Kleenex wipes. They are so thick and soft but not super saturated like a cleaning wet wipe. I love them.

Haha yes to drinks and driving around Atlanta! I always keep baby wipes in the car and they are so useful to have around. I keep the antibacterial ones in the car for when I go to Aldi to wipe down the cart.

Right?? Such an issue and metal plates are not the solution. Whoo don’t even get me started on Atlanta roads LOL. That’s a great idea about carts. Both my local go-to’s have sanitizing wipes near the cart stations and I love them.
