I like prevention and being proactive. I use my retinol to prevent wrinkles, take my vitamins, and wear my SPF. I’m big on preventative skincare (because I’m vain and don’t want to look old), but thanks to Frelii (pronounced “freely”) now I can be proactive about my nutrition.
Frelii is a subscription nutrition service that is perfectly tailored to you. Through tests and assessments, Frelii is able to identify potential health hazards that interfere with a healthy lifestyle. You begin with a questionnaire that will determine your biggest health hazards.
Then you are taken to a member’s page where your personalized dietary and exercise plans are waiting on you based on your responses to the questionnaire. Exercise plans are short and to the point, but totally effective.
You are also given a custom meal plan and recipes. I love the recipes because it gives you ALLLLLL the nutritional information up front. See below on the Low Carb Zesty Chicken Nuggets (I mean yummmmm.)
So there are some other cool things that Frelii does. First, if you are interested in having your blood work tested, Frelii can help you with that. They can test your genes to help with preventative and proactive care. You can find out how your genes work with your body. You can find out important risk factors like heart disease to help you decrease and prevent the odds.
They can also help with the struggle of weight loss. Frelii can help with dietary plans to help with weight loss. In addition, based on your questionnaire, you may be eligible for supplements to assist with proactive and preventative weight loss. For example, my highest risk factor was stress and depression, so I received “Calm” and “DV3” supplements to help with my long term wellness. I’m not necessarily depressed, but I definitely have high anxiety and stress, and these supplements help keep me grounded.
Finally, you can submit additional lab work like ordering a blood lab panel, a micronutrient panel, and DNA testing that they do in partnership with 23 and Me. It’s pretty awesome and all helpful in preventative and proactive care.
What are you doing to take preventative and proactive steps for good health and wellness?
