Atlanta Food Trucks

Atlanta Food Trucks

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m a liar. I said that I would have a post about food trucks up tomorrow morning. Well tomorrow came and went so this post got pushed back to Monday. Sorry friends… Also I forgot my camera because I came straight from a work event so the picture quality is pretty rotten. Apologies!

Hands down, my favorite part about living in Atlanta is the food trucks. Food trucks are delicious restaurants on wheels and they tend to pop up at every party you attend. When you’re really lucky, all your favorites congregate in the same place. This was the case last Thursday at Food Truck Alley in Alpharetta.

I had read the list of who would be there beforehand and was already excited, but when I arrived The Fry Guy surprised us all and made an appearance! Imagine the best fries you’ve ever had covered in surprise toppings and then just having an explosion of flavor in your mouth. It’s really hard to control your stalker tendencies and not follow them around Atlanta. These are the Parmesan Fries. I highly recommend them.

Then we had to make the toughest decision between King of Pops and Sno Bayou. Y’all this was practically Sophie’s Choice. Ok, not that bad but still really hard. King of Pops is a lot easier to find in Atlanta and I have had them several times. We had heard so much about Sno Bayou so we voted for our first Sno Balls. Boy, am I glad we did!

Stephen had cookies and cream, and I had peach flavored ice with peach ice cream with blueberries on top. Their ice cream is homemade. I like to embrace that Georgia Peach thing as much as possible… Amazeballs (I’m so punny).
Not to mention the owners, Samantha and Miranda, are the cutest things ever. If you’re ever in Atlanta you have to track down their truck and try one of these goodies for yourself. I’m still thinking about my peach on peach creation almost 24 hours later.
So I enjoyed my snoball with this sunset and realized how lucky I am in to live in this cool city.
Does your city have food trucks? If so, what’s your favorite?

Yummy! We have food tucks here in OKC! My favorites are a pizza truck and a hot chocolate truck that makes their own marshmallows!

I love food trucks and I'm definitely most likely to hit up ones with poutine! I'm such a fries girl and would have been all over The Fry Guy! And that sunset is gorgeous 🙂
