I love to make smoothies. I have no knowledge of what makes a smoothie great, what the ratio of fruit to veggies or powder should be, or what combinations are just plain delicious. I have recipe books and I use them, however, mostly I just throw junk in a blender and hope it turns out amazing.
I had one such creation last week, and today I am sharing it with you. It was GOOD. Probably not the most healthy, but pretty dang delicious.
Peach Berry Smoothie
Approximately 120 Calories (Depending on how much fruit you add)
1/2 a can of frozen Peach Bacardi Mixer (next to the frozen lemonades)
I like to use fresh and frozen fruit when I’m making stuff up, because it makes the consistency of the smoothie a little thicker. I also used a lot of ice and only half a can of the concentrate to cut down the sweetness of this one. There is no method to mixing. I just throw in a handful of each and go to town.
It was so good y’all, and very filling. This was my lunch one day last week and I wasn’t hungry again dinner time. Maybe next week I’ll put some veggies in there too, but I was just not feeling it this week. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
