We made it! Hallelujah!
It is Friday. The end of the week. We are entering the promise land with two and a quarter days off work and it is really the greatest gift.
I always breathe a deep sigh of relief when I walk out of work on Friday afternoon. At that very moment, you will have the most time off before you have to go back to the office on Monday. Every minute after that is counting down the clock, closer and closer to Monday. But in that moment opportunities are endless and all is right with the world.
Ok enough gushing about Friday.
Today I wanted to share something fun: the benefits of a glitter mask. I’m a glitter fiend. I’ve always loved anything that sparkled, and for a long time I listed my favorite color as “glitter.” I kind of assumed theses masks were like the 90’s body glitter from Limited TO. So when I found out that glitter masks are actually good for your skin, I lost my mind a little bit. The one I’m wearing above is definitely more shimmer than full-on glitter, but up close it has fun gold glitter in it!
Besides being adorable and totally Insta-worthy, these masks are packed with great nutrients to help aid your skin care. I pulled together a couple of great ones to talk about today and help you decide which one is right for you.
Too Faced “Glow Job” – This peel off mask is infused with real gold and supercharged with apple fruit extract to give a smooth luminous glow. Dull skin is removed to give a refreshed and revitalized complexion. This is great if you are looking for smoother, softer skin for make-up application.
GlamGlow #Glittermask – We know I love my GlamGlow. This mask is fabulous for firming. It includes mega-targeted ingredients like TEAOXI® Complex to help with contouring, toning, and firming. Plus..it has stars in it. Super frickin’ cute.
GlamGlow x My Little Pony #GlitterMask – Same concept as the last one but this is a partnership with My Little Pony (don’t let that turn you off) and now it comes in more colors like pink and purple. So your Insta can stay on brand no matter the color lol.
Gold and Pink Glitter Mask – These are from Swoozies and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else. This is a one-time use pouch that contains a dry and peel mask. You mix and apply this one and wait for it to dry. When you are finished you have smoother, softer skin similar to the “Glow Job” mask.
Have you ever tried a glitter mask?
