Whew. Valentine’s Day is almost here again. It’s so hard to shop for men in general, but on a holiday that is pretty girly it’s even harder for find Valentine’s Gifts for him. This is a struggle I have every year. It’s not my favorite holiday, but that also doesn’t mean I can totally ignore it.
In case you are in the same boat, here are some ideas to get your juices flowing.
–Boozy Heart Box. I did this two years ago and it was a big hit. Not to mention super easy. Take out all the candy of the gamble-chocolate box, replace with mini liquor bottles and write a cheesy note. Boom. So easy.
-HyperChiller. Stephen was very very interested in these. I already bought him one for his birthday, but I’m passing along the message. This makes hot drinks cold really fast–mainly coffee, but you can also chill a bottle of wine in minutes. Check them out here.
-Man Crate. I love these. This was such a popular gift at our family Christmas this year. It’s a hodge podge of manly things in a crate that your guy has to open with a crowbar. It’s hilarious to watch and there are a bunch of goodies that he will actually like inside. You can pick the theme of your crate so you have an idea of what’s coming inside. Some examples include, NFL Barware, Meats, Beard Wrangler, Whiskey Appreciation, Bacon, etc. Purchase your Man Crate here.
–Weekend Getaway. I’m all about the experiences. I would always prefer an experience to an actual gift. There are some awesome trips on Groupon right now. There are a few mountain trips, wine weekends in Asheville, a two night Bahamas cruise. Not to mention there are some cool international vacations too. Go peruse Groupon Getaways in your spare time.
–Watch. I love my JORD Wood Watch. I received it a few years ago as a product, but I really love it. I actually receive the most compliments on it from men. JORD has a whole selection of men’s wooden watches that would be a nice alternative to the typical watches you always see.
What are you getting your man this Valentine’s Day?
